How Can the Grow Digital Voucher Benefit Your Business?

The Grow Digital Voucher may support eligible investments in areas such as:

All proposed software and services must meet the Grow Digital Voucher eligibility requirements. The scheme does not cover every IT product, service or upgrade.

How Much Funding Can Your Business Receive?

The Grow Digital Voucher provides grant aid towards eligible digital technology expenditure.

• Maximum grant: €5,000.
• Grant rate: 50% of eligible project costs.
• Minimum grant: €500.
• Eligible expenditure: Qualifying software subscriptions, IT configuration and training, subject to the scheme’s terms and limits.

For example, an approved project with €6,000 in eligible costs could potentially receive €3,000 in grant aid, with the business funding the remaining €3,000.

Training and IT configuration costs combined cannot exceed 50% of the overall project cost. The grant is subject to approval, and eligible expenditure must meet the scheme’s requirements.

Businesses may be approved for up to two projects, with a maximum cumulative grant of €5,000, subject to the applicable conditions.

Is Your Business Eligible?

The Grow Digital Voucher is generally available to small enterprises that:

• Employ between 1 and 50 paid employees.
• Have completed a Digital for Business project within the previous two years.
• Have been established and trading for at least six months.
• Are registered and operate within their Local Enterprise Office area.
• Are not currently clients of Enterprise Ireland or IDA.
• Meet the applicable financial, tax clearance and other scheme requirements.

Additional criteria apply, including the EU definition of a small enterprise and the rules for businesses linked to other companies.

Your Local Enterprise Office can confirm whether your business qualifies and whether your proposed IT investment is eligible.

What IT Costs Are Not Covered?

The Grow Digital Voucher is intended to support eligible new digital technology investments rather than general IT expenditure.

Depending on the circumstances, the following may be ineligible:

• Existing software subscriptions or additional licences for software already in use.
• Bespoke or custom software development.
• Hardware purchases and general IT equipment, unless specifically confirmed as eligible under the scheme.
• Systems intended solely for regulatory compliance.
• General IT support, maintenance or services that do not meet the scheme’s eligible expenditure criteria.

The eligibility of Microsoft 365 subscriptions, cybersecurity products, cloud services and other IT solutions should be confirmed with your Local Enterprise Office before any commitment is made.
