To facilitate working from home you will need plan and decide what type work you want to do away from your normal office environment.

Firstly, bring home your laptop, and do not forget your charger. You can also take your keyboard mouse and monitor. If you do not use a laptop, you will need to bring home your desktop pc.

Essentially you want to make working at home as easy as possible which also means you will need access to all network drives, email and any in house applications you use.

Remote connection to your on-site server may be required and to do this securely you will need a secure VPN via your Firewall, Windows VPN or a Log Me In license.

Broadband performance and bandwidth are important in ensuring your remote connection is strong and works well. If you are sharing this with others in the home, you may need to agree with the kids that they stay offline while you’re on a video call.

For help with getting set up to work from home, we can help with all of the above, well except for the kids !
